Contemporary Japanese
The inspiration and stimulation from these painting is my Japanese wife, Teruko. Regarding the Noh masks: I am not certain why I use them. The Noh theater is a highly styled masked song and dance drama. It originated sometime before 1333 A.D. One can find information about it online.

The Catholic religion has had an important influence on my life as has Japan.
